What is IMT Matcher?
Matcher is an advanced barcode-based electronic security system.
It ensures that the entire assisted reproduction procedure is monitored not only by physicians and embryologists, but also by advanced technology that watches over every step of the procedure to ensure the safety is absolutely at the highest level.

How does this system work?
Step 1
Identity check and registration
Verification of patient identity and registration in the system.
Step 2
Patient wristbanding
Issuing patient wristbands with an individual patient barcode.
Step 3
Barcodes
All containers containing patient reproductive cells are labelled with individual patient barcodes.
Step 4
Procedure monitoring
Each step of the procedure is monitored on tablet screens set up in our laboratory.
Step 5
Treatment monitoring
Code scanners are also in place in the treatment and transfer room, where we read the patient wristband and the containers containing reproductive cells and embryos.
Step 6
Cell and embryo labelling
Frozen embryos and reproductive cells are also labelled with special barcodes resistant to extremely low temperatures.
Step 7
Creation of documentation
A photo record documenting the entire procedure is produced.
